Business Clinic - Foreign Exchange Services

Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with approved supplier Moneycorp, is organising a free business clinic on Foreign Exchange. The 1-2-1 meeting will give traders the opportunities to discuss their foreign exchange exposure and how to manage it more efficiently.

The meetings will be taking place in our Member's Louge at Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, Elliot House, 151 Deansgate, M3 3WD Manchester. We also offer the option to host the meeting to virtually via Teams.

Duration

30 minutes in a one-to-one meeting with our Foreign exchange expert.

Timings

12 meeting slots are available between 10:00am and 4pm. Select your preferred slot in the registration form.

This event is free of charge for Chamber Members and Non-Members.

• Andy Dobson

With 30+ years spent wprking for HSBC Bank plc., working specifically in Global Markets – helping businesses manage currency, interest rates and commodity risk. Now working with Moneycorp since 2018 and specifically help businesses manage currency risk and international payments. He dealt with a wide variety of businesses from SME to Large Corporate to listed PLCs, coming from a wide variety of sectors.

• Damon Ellam

Spent the last 5 years at Moneycorp helping Businesses manage the risks associated with currency volatility, thereby ensuring they remain profitable and competitive. He also dealt with a wide variety of businesses from SME to Large Corporate to listed PLCs and from a wide variety of sectors.

If you are interested in expanding into understing foreign exchane, then this is a must-attend event. Andy and Damon will share their insights on the topic, and they will provide practical advice on how to use foreign exchange successfully.

Cancellation & Terms & Conditions

In case you can no longer make the meeting, you must cancel your place at least 2 working days before the clinic. The cancellation must be in writing and sent to exportbritain@gmchamber.co.uk indicating the event you are cancelling for and delegate(s) details. Failure to do so will incur in a cancellation fee as follows:

• Members: £15+VAT per company for members

• Non-Members: £20+VAT for non-members.
